after expecting a wonderfully elegant experience, i encountered shabby rooms and an atrociously rude staff, who didn’t even offer complimentary water. the breakfast was truly a disaster, with mostly unedible food. i was so close to praising the hotel, if only someone had acknowledged my presence during check-in.

Oh, the croissants at the restaurant are a flaky marvel, an absolute game-changer! Plus, shoutout to the awesome variety for vegetarians that made munching here a delight. the Elite King Room I crashed in was larger than I expected—plenty of space to kick back after exploring!
But let’s not trip over the A/C—it was cooler than my ex's heart! Just a toggle between on/off and cool/heat? Managed to bundle up instead of chill out.

Big rooms and friendly staff
Staying solo, I loved how spacious my room was—perfect for chilling out after exploring. The staff were super friendly and really helped me out. The free pick up from the ferry was on time and much appreciated! The only bummer was that the cafe had limited options for meals, which made food choices a bit tough.

The spacious rooms are a real treat for budget travelers—plenty of space to stretch out and clean, too. I was impressed with the solid amenities like the indoor swimming pool and gym facilities that really enhance your stay.
My room faced the back alley, giving me a view of a building about 100 meters away. Although breakfast is served daily, the quality left much to be desired. it just felt like poor value for the money spent. the bathrooms had a tendency to flood regardless of using shower curtains. Plus, while there's easy access to the ferry terminal, the hotel's distance from the main attractions requires at least a 20-30 minute walk. The overall ambiance feels somewhat dated, too.

comfortable stay with a great city view
The staff were incredibly kind, providing excellent service throughout my visit. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, offering a terrific city view that enhanced my overall experience. The hotel's shuttle service to nearby attractions made it easy to explore the area.
The location isn't ideal if you wish to stay closer to the old town.

The room was comfy, and the shuttle service to the ferry terminal was super handy. Don't miss the nearby local restaurant for awesome veg food.
